Last minute orders/urgent concerns: If you are placing a last minute order (within 24-48 hours) or have an urgent concern that needs answering please call us at 902- 564 - 6000 instead of emailing. If your question is not urgent, please read through our F.A.Q. page and website to find any information that can answer your question.

Our hours are:
Tuesday - Friday: 10am - 6pm | Saturday 10am - 4pm. | We are closed Sunday and Monday.

Our location is: 340 Keltic Drive, Sydney River, N.S. (Same parking lot as Breton Brewing and Nurtured Salon and Spa.)

Signature Cake Orders:
We require 3 days notice to book a simple signature cake. The earlier the better, but we will always try our best to accommodate last minute requests!

Custom Cake Orders: We typically require 2-3 weeks notice to book a custom order cake. The earlier the better, but we will always try our best to accommodate your requests!

What is the difference between fondant and buttercream icing? Buttercream is a combination of butter and sugar whipped together to make it smooth and spreadable, whereas fondant is a combination of powdered sugar, water and glycerine to make a paste that can be rolled thinly and has a smoother, cleaner appearance.

Cancellations: For Bakery Cakes + Studio Orders we require a full week (7 days) notice to cancel any cakes or large bakery orders.

Delivery: We charge a delivery fee of $50/hr for wedding/tiered cakes or large bakery orders. This includes set-up and travel time. We do not offer delivery for small orders at this time, but can recommend multiple courier services in Sydney.

No Show: We will call you to try and arrange an alternate pick-up date. If we cannot get a hold of you and your order remains unclaimed, your credit card may be charged. We are aware that life is unpredictable, and in the case of an extenuating circumstance please call us and we will do our best to accommodate!

All things Weddings: Weddings can be booked up to a year in advance! We usually recommend booking at least 4-6 months before weddings, as the wedding season typically books up very quickly and we can only take so many events each weekend. For custom cakes for special events, 2 months is always a good amount of time, although it you have a last minute request we will definitely try to make it work! For 1-tiered signature cakes, 2 weeks is the typical time requirement.

Once the 50% deposit is made, the deposit is non-refundable and you are booked.. If the event is cancelled, the deposit can be turned into a credit for other items. The full payment due two weeks before the date.
